RTB will begin rehearsing for the 2009 summer concert season on June 1st. We look forward to another wonderful season full of fun, friendship, and of course, beautiful music. And most of all, we look forward to YOU being a part of our auspicious group.
The first rehearsal for the Concert Band will be Monday June 1st, 2009. This will also be a rehearsal for Mark Eiser's farewell concert on June 4th as described below. The first rehearsal for the Jazz Band is Tuesday June 9th, 2009. So unpack that instrument, dust off the mouthpiece, soak that reed, oil those valves, grease that cork, and keep those "chops" in shape. Check the "Schedule" page for more details.
ALL MEMBERS CURRENT AND PAST - There will be a very special performance on June 4th at Schalmont HS at 7PM. This will be a "farewell" concert to honor and commemorate the long and very successful career of our long time director, Mark Eiser. Mark is (sadly) retiring from his teaching position at the end of the 2008-2009 school year, and he is hoping to see as many of his RTB adult and HS members, Schalmont alumni, and any other "friends of Mark" as are interesting in participating. Special rehearsals will be on Saturday May 30th, 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon, and June 1st at 7:PM. If you are interested in participating please call or email Mark at ARKMEISER@aol.com. Or come to one or both of the rehearsals, or just come to the concert.
